Gaan Nort : Oral History Project on the North Isles of Orkney

The Oral History of the North Isles project was created to document and capture the social, economic and cultural history of the North Isles of Orkney through their oral history.

The interviews should help those living in - or belonging to - the North Isles understand what has shaped the islands, and how the memories, experiences and reminiscences from bygone times can inform the present.
