DescriptionIt was taken while SMS Baden was docked at Invergordon between 1st and 14th August 1919, following the scuttling, when she was beached by British sailors. The attached handwritten label reads, "One of the German Fleet interned at Scapa Flow. Fitted to telescopic sight to prevent concussion to the eye when firing the gun."
