DescriptionThe tin of condensed milk was given to the Peace family who lived in Taits' Buildings, 29 Broad Street, Kirkwall, by a British Commando on exercise in Orkney, preparing for a raid on the Lofoten Islands. It was turned into a mug later to commemorate the gift.
