DescriptionStained whitewood chair with panelled back inscribed "E.T. 1596". For some generations used as a nursing chair by the Drever family (originally from Westray). ET stands for "Ellen Tait" who was to become the bride of William Drever. The chair was made by her father, James Tait of Cannigall.
