DescriptionLogline fragment: piece of cord which was part of the log line of the UB 116, the last German submarine sunk in British waters im 1st WW. It is a dirty grey brown colour with an outside cover and a harder internal core. It is threaded through an old post card which has its history typed in red. It is signed W T Phillips, Chaplain of the Lyness Naval Base.
