Contained in cream satin presentationbox, circular, with domed lid, imprinted 'BLACK, STARR & FROST, 5th Ave., Cor. 39. St. New York.' Box 60mm diameter. Presentation box contained in square white cardboard box imprinted 'Jewellers & Silversmiths, Black, Starr & Frost, Fifth Ave, Cor.39th Street, New York'. Box also contains a visiting card of Mr & Mrs Andrew Carnegie, Skibo Castle, Sutherland, & Two, East Ninety-First Street, New York, with the following handwritten inscription: 'Daisy Whyte, with warmest greetings from Andrew Carnegie, Louise W. Carnegie.' The whole sent to Daisy Whyte from Skibo Castle, after she had presented Mrs Carnegie with flowers at the opening of the public library in Kirkwall.
