DescriptionModel sailing boat with wooden hull and metal-weighted keel; the deck and top part of hull are painted white, while the lower hull and keel are painted green. The mast and sails are separate and are slotted and hooked into place using metal hooks and wires on the deck and spars. The boat is from Rackwick, c1900, and belonged to James Ritch of the Shore. It was used when sailing competitions were held on Sandy Loch. The mast and sails were made by Dan Kilpatrick of Kirkwall around 1980.
