Object numberOM-1714
DescriptionFIREARM; A small, 6chamber revolver for fixed ammunition. Probably a service weapon (it has a lanyard ring on the butt) it has no markings at all. The 9mm bore suggests that it is Continental European. Loading is via a hinged cover to the rear of the right hand side of the cylinder: a hinged ejector rod pulls out of the centre of the cylinder and swings over to manually eject spent cartridge cases. The exterior of the cylinder is a plain drum, no metal having been removed from between the chambers to lighten it. The stock grips are wood, chequered.
