Object numberOM-16289
DescriptionAntler peg, whittled to a point at each end, round in cross-section. One end seems to have broken in antiquity. On the other end the facets are blunted and polished with use.
The peg seems to have been competently made but it is not highly-finished. It may have been made locally, since there would seem to be little need to import such an object, but there is a possibility that it got to the site as part of a larger complex object.
