75 years of Orkney's North Isles Sports

Six of Orkney's outer North Isles meet each year to contest a variety of sports. Individuals compete in various athletics events: Junior and Senior teams take part in relay, netball and football competitions; and Seniors struggle for Tug o' War supremacy. This book describes the circumstances leading up to the first North Isles Sports in 1949, and includes recollections of some of the earliest competitors as well as newspaper accounts of the games up to the 75th anniversary in 2024. It also contains comprehensive winners lists for each year, and a Hall of Fame for the most outstanding champions.
