An account of the sailing voyages around Britain undertaken by the author, including voyage up the East coast of Scotland, then through the Pentland Firth and down the West coat to the Firth of Clyde, on his own boat, the cutter Brynhildr. In another season he sailed to the northermost point of Shetland.
