Geological Survey of Scotland, and in this paper he examines the Old Red Sandstone of the area known as Lake Orcadie, and describes the different districts - Caithness and Sutherland, Orkney, Shetland and the Northern Firths, from Buckie to Inverness. Includes notes on the volcanic rocks of Shetland.
