Beaches of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland

The results of a survey commissioned by the Coutryside Commission for Scotland. The theme of the survey was sandy beaches as natural resources and examines both their physical nature and pattern of utilisation. The area covered includes all coastlines north and west of a line from Helensburgh to Inverness, including Kintyre.
